WHAT'S IN A NAME?

Sudeep is neither a name of a person in our organisation nor in the family of the founders. Then what does "Sudeep" stand for?

"Deep" is a Hindi word for Light. "Su" means pure / good / nice. Thus, "Sudeep" essentially stands for PURE LIGHT. When the parent company - Sudeep Electronics - was setup by Mr. Nikhil Mehta at Mumbai, India in 1977, his prime reason to do so was to help the talented musicians get their careers rolling. The name "Sudeep" occured to him as he wanted the next generation to carry on with the Pure Light...in the field of Music. In Sound. And also in the span of his entire business activities.

Decades later with this new entity - SudeepAudio.com, we strive to live upto this vision; this dream. And so, you will find that we are trying to improve the marketing of musicians and audio products in various ways that are open and transparent in nature. The basic aim remains to help our valued customers to buy good products at genuine, authentic prices. And also, to popularise Indian music on the Net - a powerful medium in itself.
