R S Mani (popularly known as 'Mani'), started off in the music field by playing the flute in his school band, slowly shifted to the Drums and percussions.

Later after school, he started playing the Piano Accordion for various live shows with all popular artists.

After Mani's graduation, he got into electronic music and started playing the Keyboard. He has toured with big legends like KISHORE KUMAR, R D BURMAN, MAHENDRA KAPOOR to name a few.

Mani slowly started arranging music for albums produced by Music companies like TIPS, VENUS, T-SERIES, etc. He can read and write music following both the systems Indian as well as the western notations.

With the result of this skill, he can write for a String/Brass section or the sarangi, sitar, flute with the same expertise.

Today, Mani does most of his work on a G4 laptop running on a MOTU DP4 software.Other softwares are the Reason, Kontakt, Mach5, Stormdrums, SwarPlug softwares.

Hardware he likes to work with is Triton Extreme keyboard, Roland XV 5080,Akai Z8, Kurzweil 2500, Emu proteus 2000, etc.

Recently, Mani did the complete arrangement, sound designing of all the Songs of the Yash Raj films blockbuster 'VEER ZAARA'. He also scored the Background music with a 40 piece Live Orchestra and Keyboards and was also nominated for the Best Background score/SCREEN AWARDS for the same film.
Mani has also arranged POPULAR FILM SONGS like Chamma chamma, Mehboob mere, etc composed by Anu Malik, and the songs of the movie 'MANN'.

Currently, he is working on a movie score and a fusion album.
