He is the latest to happen in the ghazal scenario of Indian music. Jasvinder Singh is a promising ghazal singer of this generation with a soft and silky voice and has proved his mettel as an artist who has ghazals in his blood! Literally so, as he is the son of famous music director Kuldip Singh of Saath Saath (Tum ko dekha to yeh khayal aaya), and Ankush fame (itni shakti hamen de na data).

Jasvinder primarily learned music under the watchful and selfless guidence of his father. Initial training in classical vocals was from Pt. Ajay Pohankar and continues to be under the tutorship of Dr. Sushila Pohankar. The ghazal maestro Shri Jagjit Singh has also given lot of encouragement and has inspired Jasvinder's work. After years of fine tuning, he has perfected the nuances of ghazal Gayaki that differentiates the ordinary from the rare.

Jasvinder has also been awarded the Best Singer & has stood 1st in the mega finals of the most popular musical zee's programme Tvs Sa-Re-Ga-Ma.(he was awarded the trophy of the outstanding singer by some eminent maestros like pt vilayat khan saheb,pt shiv kumar sharma, Smt Girja devi, Pt Ramnarayan,Shri Anil Biswas & Ustad Zakir Hussain. He has sung for the film Train To Pakistan & Amritsar. He has sung for tele-serials like Naya Nukkad, Discovery Of India, Chitrahaar (DD1), Kacchi Kandh (Alpha punjabi), Ittefaaq(ZEE), Raja Ka Baaja(DD), Supriya(SAB TV), Sarhad, Papa(B4U), RangShaala(Zee), Pani wich parchawaan (Alpha Punjabi) and many more to follow.

Eastern Music Promotion (UK) has released his ghazal album "Jazba-a-Dil" in Europe and US. Recently, Tips has released his solo Ghazal album "Yours Truly" which has 8 melodious & soul stirring ghazals by some very prominents poets like Payam saeedi, Naqsh Layalpuri, Bashir Badr, Jigar Muradabadi, Raahat Indoori, Shahid. Music has been composed by Shri Kuldip singh.

Jasvinder has his own unique style of performing and has a great command over the audience in his concerts and mehfils which is liked by both young and old. His concerts includes the great works of Ghalib, Daag, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Jigar and also Nida Fazli, Naqsh Layallpuri, Bashir Badr, Dushyant Kumar, etc.

He has also mastered the art of singing some foot-tapping Punjabi songs which he likes to sing in his concert for the finale. Currently, he is working on his new album which will be with Tips music and will be released soon. And he is travelling all over India for his concerts and also has toured UK.
