Definition:
A digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device, typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.  The term Podcast is actually a portmanteau of iPod and Broadcast.

You do not have to spend a lot on audio equipment to become a Podcaster or even a YouTuber. Besides the camera (for Youtubers), most beginners lose focus or ignore the more important aspect in a podcast. The Audio!

So get going with basic all-in-one packages available at cheaper than a phone price, or buy separate components like a sound card, microphone, headphones, studio monitors to get a better result and thereby followers for your podcasts. Don’t forget, however, that content is king 🙂
